Vessla Raises €2.94M to Automate the Work Behind Managing Property Portfolios - Prime World Media Funding News

Stockholm-based Vessla has emerged from stealth with €2.94 million ($3.3 million) in pre-seed financing to develop AI agents that can coordinate property operations across existing business systems. The round was led by Seedcamp and attracted investment from Inception Fund, Tiny VC, operators from Lovable and OpenAI, Tandem Health founder Lukas Saari, Voi and Pit founder Fredrik Hjelm, and other angel investors. The round was more than twice oversubscribed. <Cite refs={["turn474178search0","turn474178search1"]}/>

Founded in 2026, Vessla is building technology for commercial and residential real estate owners who need to coordinate maintenance, leasing, suppliers, finances and building operations. Its platform is designed to reduce the manual work involved in moving information between separate software tools, where property teams often have to follow up on requests, update records and track invoices themselves.

The company's AI agents operate across the systems property businesses already use, drawing on relevant records, company procedures and operational context to carry out tasks. For example, handling a maintenance issue can involve reviewing property information, contacting a contractor, updating a work order and checking the resulting invoice. Vessla aims to connect these steps so that fewer tasks depend on employees manually coordinating each handoff. <Cite refs={["turn474178search0","turn474178search1"]}/>

Beyond individual workflows, Vessla is developing a broader operating layer for entire property portfolios. Its technology is intended to connect leasing, day-to-day building management and investment planning, giving operators a more unified view of performance. AI agents could help identify ways to increase rental income, lower operating expenses and coordinate actions across multiple properties.

The company is not positioning autonomous AI as a replacement for human accountability. Property teams continue to set priorities and make decisions that require professional judgment, while the agents handle suitable execution tasks within defined rules. This distinction is particularly important in real estate, where operational decisions can affect tenants, suppliers, budgets and long-term asset value. <Cite refs={["turn474178search0","turn474178search1"]}/>

Vessla's founding team brings experience in enterprise technology, consulting and applied AI. CEO Orman Gazvini previously advised major software companies at McKinsey and worked in strategy and mergers and acquisitions at Pophouse. CTO Kasper Janehag began his career in the space industry, contributed to NASA's Mars 2020 mission and later led enterprise AI transformation projects at QuantumBlack, McKinsey's AI division. Chief Scientist Arash Dabiri has experience developing and evaluating AI-agent applications at Andon Labs and QuantumBlack. <Cite refs={["turn474178search0","turn474178search1"]}/>

The startup says it is already working with some of the largest commercial and residential property owners and operators in the Nordic region. While it has not disclosed a detailed allocation for the new capital, the financing provides resources to develop its platform and expand its work with real estate businesses.

Vessla enters a market where property companies are increasingly exploring AI to reduce administrative overhead and improve asset performance. Its longer-term ambition is to connect the many systems used across a property portfolio, allowing AI agents to handle more of the operational workload while people retain control over consequential decisions.
