Netsec Raises $10M to Unify IT Operations and Cybersecurity With AI

European cybersecurity company Netsec has raised more than $10 million in new equity funding to expand its AI-driven approach to IT and cybersecurity management. The round was led by Partech, with participation from Primo Capital and View Different, the investment vehicle of Diego Piacentini. Other backers include Riccardo Zacconi, Kima Ventures, Ithaca Investments, Vento, Vito Lomele, Everywhere Ventures and several technology and cybersecurity-focused angel investors.
Founded in 2025 by Gianluca Varisco and Guglielmo Reina, Netsec is built around a simple proposition: mid-sized businesses should not have to coordinate a collection of separate providers for their IT infrastructure and security. Varisco, who serves as CEO, previously held security leadership roles at Arduino and Italy's Digital Transformation Team before becoming a Principal Security Architect at Google Cloud. Reina previously worked in technology investing at Global Founders Capital and 468 Capital.
The company's service brings several traditionally separate functions into one operating model. These include device management, identity and access, endpoint protection, network operations, security operations and help desk support. Netsec also handles routine activities such as employee onboarding and offboarding, SaaS access management, system patching and preparation of evidence for security audits.
Rather than adding another dashboard to an already crowded IT environment, Netsec combines its software infrastructure with human operators who remain responsible for outcomes. AI and automation handle repetitive workloads, allowing the team to concentrate on incidents, decisions and more complex security requirements. Customers interact with the service through familiar workplace tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams, while pricing is based on employees rather than individual support tickets.
The young company has already gained traction across Europe and the United States. Netsec says it manages thousands of endpoints and has recorded a median incident-response time of under 14 minutes across thousands of tickets. Its customer base primarily consists of mid-market businesses that may not have the resources to build large internal IT and cybersecurity teams.
The new capital will be directed toward expanding Netsec's automation and integration layer, strengthening its operating team and supporting further growth in both European and US markets. The company is also targeting the growing compliance requirements surrounding frameworks and regulations including NIS2, DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
With its model, Netsec is positioning itself as a modern alternative to traditional managed service providers, combining cybersecurity, IT operations and AI-powered automation under one accountable service for companies that need enterprise-level capabilities without building an equivalent team internally.
