Manchester FinTech Crediflow AI Lands €1.8 Million to Streamline Commercial Lending - Prime World Media Funding News

Crediflow AI, a financial technology enterprise based in Manchester that seeks to eliminate manual procedures from commercial loan processing, has successfully raised €1.8 million (£1.5 million) in new funding.

The investment round was spearheaded by NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, which is overseen by PXN Ventures as a component of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II). NPIF II is a €790.84 million (£660 million) fund spanning the entire North of England that offers loans ranging from €29,957 (£25,000) to €2.4 million (£2 million) alongside equity investments reaching nearly €6 million (£5 million). Additional participation in the round came from early-stage venture capital firm Haatch and a collective of angel investors.

Joe Ball, senior investment associate at PXN Ventures, remarked that businesses across all industries and sizes depend heavily on commercial finance for various needs, yet the approval mechanisms remain largely manual, leading to inefficiencies and sluggish lending decisions. By introducing automation to this segment, Drey Kenfack and the Crediflow AI team are not only assisting lenders but also lowering hurdles for enterprises requiring growth capital.

Established in 2024, Crediflow AI was founded by Drey Kenfack, who accumulated over ten years of experience in private credit and commercial lending, holding senior credit positions at DF Capital Bank, Ford Credit Bank, and Advance Global Capital prior to launching the business.

The enterprise has engineered a platform that aggregates the data credit groups typically compile by hand—such as borrower documents, bank transactions, and financial statements—and organizes them into credit analyses prepared for lender authorization. Its primary offering, FlowSpread, automates financial spreading by pulling balance sheet metrics, income statements, and cash flow figures straight from tax returns, PDFs, and bank records, thereby removing manual data input tasks.

Additionally, the system provides a Bank Statement Analysis utility that introduces another layer of intelligence, automatically sorting transactions across diverse accounts, cross-checking them against provided financials, and highlighting risk indicators like cash flow volatility, concentration risk, or irregular activity.

Crediflow AI reports that its platform can shorten a procedure normally lasting several days down to just 10 to 30 minutes. The technology is already utilized by hundreds of credit experts throughout the UK, the US, and Europe, with customers including Iveco Capital and AddWorking Capital.

Kenfack, the CEO and founder of Crediflow AI, noted that expanding a loan portfolio demands more than simply locating borrowers and possessing accessible capital; it requires the capacity to evaluate those businesses, push approvals through, and maintain oversight of risk after funds are disbursed, noting he spent a significant portion of his professional life performing those duties.

He added that when every transaction demands hours of manual preparation, it restricts the volume of business a lender can manage and dictates which deals are worth pursuing, explaining that Crediflow was built to alleviate that workload and grant credit teams extra time to comprehend borrowers and structure the financing appropriately.

Previously, Crediflow was chosen as one of eight ventures to secure investment via PXN’s PraeSeed initiative, a 12-week cohort-driven program operated alongside the British Business Bank and NPIF II.

The newly acquired funds will be directed toward accelerating platform enhancement, growing the engineering and product divisions, and onboarding additional specialist lenders and banks. The company also intends to utilize the capital to extend automation across the entire loan journey, spanning from origination through to monitoring, with workflows customized to fit each individual lender's internal credit guidelines.
