Seaya, a Spanish investment platform, has announced the launch of Seaya Nova, its new growth fund, following a first close of €600 million in just six months – tickets will range from €20-50 million per company.

The fund is backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the European Tech Champions Initiative (ETCI); the EIB Group programme created to help close the funding gap facing Europe’s growth-stage technology companies, alongside other institutional investors, corporates and family offices.

Beatriz González, founder of Seaya and Managing Partner of Seaya Nova, says: “Seaya Nova is the natural evolution of what we have built over thirteen years. We started backing Public founders at the earliest stage, we added an impact strategy with Seaya Andromeda, and now we can stay with the best European companies all the way to global leadership. We are delighted to welcome Vinoth to lead this next chapter with us.”

Seaya Nova’s launch follows a series of European VC fundraising announcements in 2026 targeting growth-stage technology companies.

In Spain, Barcelona-based Kembara secured a €750 million first close for its EIF-backed DeepTech growth fund, while Samaipata reached €70 million towards a €110 million early-stage AI-focused vehicle.

Elsewhere, UK-based Molten Ventures raised €203 million for a Series B+ growth fund, London’s Mouro Capital secured approximately €343.7 million, 2150 closed a €210 million climate-focused fund, and Paris-based SlateVC reached a €132 million first close.

Together with Seaya Nova, these announcements represent approximately €2.31 billion in reported fund closes and capital raised. The launch also builds on Seaya’s previous fundraising activity, including the €300 million final close of Seaya Andromeda in 2024.

Vinoth Jayakumar, Managing Partner of Seaya Nova, adds: “Europe now produces companies capable of leading their categories globally. The question is no longer whether they can be built here, but whether they can be scaled from here. AI is compressing the path from product-market fit to category leadership, and the capital that decides the winner is needed earlier and in larger amounts. Seaya Nova is built for that reality, and I could not be more excited to join Seaya to build it”.

Seaya is a European multi-stage technology investment platform founded in Madrid in 2013. The firm operates through three complementary investment strategies: Seaya Ventures at the early stage, Seaya Andromeda in impact, and Seaya Nova in growth.

Seaya Nova will invest €20 million to €50 million per company, leading or co-leading Series B to D rounds in European technology companies with proven models, durable economics and global ambition.

Seaya Nova is led by Beatriz González, Founder and Managing Partner of Seaya, and Vinoth Jayakumar, who joins Seaya as Managing Partner of Seaya Nova after more than a decade of European growth investing, including backing Revolut, Wise, Thought Machine and ICEYE et al.

His appointment coincides with the opening of a new Seaya office in London, complementing its Madrid headquarters – aiming to strengthen the firm’s presence across European technology markets.
