Everphone Secures €15 Million to Finance New Devices for Corporate Customers

Berlin-based Everphone has secured €15 million in refinancing from Commerzbank and Germany’s state-owned development bank KfW to finance new workplace devices for its corporate customers. The facility will support the company’s long-term Device-as-a-Service model, under which businesses provide smartphones, laptops, tablets and other devices to employees through rental contracts.
Founded in 2016 by Jan Dzulko, Everphone operates a Device-as-a-Service platform that manages the complete lifecycle of corporate hardware. Its services cover procurement, configuration, device management, security and replacement, while its “Choose-your-own-Device” model allows employees to select the device they prefer. Existing corporate fleets can also be integrated through a buy-and-rent-back model.
Everphone currently serves more than 1,000 organisations, including international consultancies, corporations and DAX-listed companies. Beyond hardware leasing, the company provides managed services covering mobile device management, mobile threat defence and tariff management. Its circular approach also focuses on extending device lifecycles through refurbishment and reuse, with the company reporting that more than 95% of its devices receive a second lifecycle.
The latest financing follows Everphone’s €270 million Series D announced in 2024, which also included KfW. The new facility builds on a decade-long banking relationship with Commerzbank, which serves as Everphone’s principal bank. KfW is participating for the second time through its Venture Tech Growth Financing programme, following earlier financing commitments in 2023 and 2024.
A key feature of the new financing is an interest margin that is 20 basis points lower than Everphone’s previous arrangement. Since financing costs represent a significant component of the unit economics of a Device-as-a-Service business, the improved terms are expected to reduce the cost of funding its device inventory. The structure also allows Everphone to finance larger purchase volumes at lower unit costs, including replacement devices provided to customers when equipment fails.
The €15 million facility will therefore help Everphone continue purchasing and deploying devices as it expands its customer base. By combining device financing, lifecycle management and circular reuse, the company is continuing to develop its model for companies looking to provide workplace technology without taking direct ownership of the underlying hardware.
