DOD Solution Raises €1.8 Million to Scale AI Autonomy for Unmanned Systems - Prime World Media Funding News

Estonian-Ukrainian DefenceTech company DOD Solution has raised €1.8 million ($2.1 million) in pre-seed funding to accelerate the development and commercial scaling of its AURA AI autonomy platform for unmanned systems. The round includes Angel One Fund, Better Angle, Defence Builder Fund, Network VC, Newfund, UAID Fund, WildField Ventures and 4C-Next Holding AG, while Canadian drone technology company Draganfly joined as a strategic investor.

Founded in 2023, DOD Solution develops onboard computing and AI autonomy technology for unmanned platforms. Its flagship AURA AI combines an onboard computer with an autonomy software stack designed to support navigation, perception and other autonomous functions when GPS or communications are limited. The company says the technology has already been used in combat conditions in Ukraine.

The company’s leadership includes Roman Hapachylo as CEO, Nazar Kravchuk as co-founder and Chief Product Officer, and Ivan Oleksii as co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer. Hapachylo took over as CEO in March 2026, while Kravchuk moved into the CPO role.

AURA AI is designed to work across different categories of unmanned platforms rather than being tied to a single drone system. DOD Solution is developing the technology alongside platform manufacturers and has established partnerships spanning onboard computing, AI acceleration and integrated counter-drone capabilities. Its partners include Lantronix, Axelera AI and Defsecintel Solutions.

The company has also been developing its own AURA single-board computers, with the next generation intended for production at scale. DOD Solution says the hardware and software are being developed with international deployment in mind, including efforts toward NDAA-compliance requirements for expansion into European and North American markets.

The new funding will support production of the next generation of AURA SBC, continued development of AURA OS and onboard AI capabilities, and additional integrations with unmanned-system manufacturers in Ukraine and international markets. The company’s broader goal is to establish AURA AI as an autonomy layer that can be integrated across different unmanned platforms and operational environments.
