Isometric Brings Series A to €43 Million as It Expands Beyond Carbon Removal - Prime World Media Funding News

London-based climate technology company Isometric has expanded its Series A to €43 million ($50 million), adding new investors as it broadens its AI-powered certification platform beyond carbon removal and into the wider industrial economy.

The latest investment brings Isometric’s total funding across its Seed and Series A rounds to approximately €64 million ($75 million). The new investors include Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Acario Innovation, BY Venture Partners, Dubai Future District Fund, Earth VC, Motion Ventures, One Capital, Plug and Play, Verb Ventures, and Legora founder Max Junestrand.

Founded in 2022 by Eamon Jubbawy, Isometric was created to bring greater trust and transparency to carbon removal markets. Jubbawy previously co-founded Onfido, the digital identity verification company that was acquired by Entrust for $650 million.

Isometric’s platform, Certify, uses AI agents to review and cross-check the data behind industrial claims, working alongside independent human verifiers. The system can analyse information from sources including sensor readings, satellite data, supply-chain records and laboratory results, helping identify inconsistencies and cases requiring expert review.

The company initially focused on carbon removal and has been contracted to certify more than 16 million tonnes of carbon removal, which Isometric describes as the largest contracted volume among certifiers. Its platform has since expanded into industrial emissions, energy, fuels and materials.

Isometric says its technology is already being used across more than 200 projects, with customers including Microsoft, Anglo American, Boeing and JPMorgan Chase. Its certificates are published through a public Registry alongside the underlying data, calculations and evidence.

The company’s June Series A was initially announced at $40 million, led by AVP with participation from Plural, Lowercarbon Capital, John Doerr and Walter Kortschak. The latest expansion adds ICE and other investors to the round.

With the additional capital, Isometric plans to accelerate its expansion across the industrial economy, combining agentic AI certification with financial-market infrastructure and data expertise to make industrial claims faster to verify and easier to trust.
